Health Care Integrated Services has worked in tangent with the Los Angeles, Long Beach, Compton, and Inglewood School districts to create a safe scholastic environment where teachers and students can focus on the primary experience of a rewarding education.
Our Program and dedicated staff have been an integral component in helping to minimize day-to-day conflicts that are prevalent in school environments. Staff members have taken an active role in facilitating activities which promote team building and provide our youth with a positive influence. Additionally, we’ve worked hard to become instrumental in providing conflict resolution between youth, educators and law enforcement by actively participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. Students in the program regularly receive recognition for their improvement and achievements both personally and scholastically.
Through Health Care Integrated Services, our youth have been provided with information about getting into colleges and other resources within the community such as tutoring, low cost to no cost medical services and emergency housing.
Staff members have used their knowledge, skills, linkages and resources to promote student success in the school, community, and in their home. They have established a network for the troubled youth in our school. They are adept at solving problems and effectively assisting youth through encouragement. From group or personal tragedies to specific isolated incidents of discord, our staff are ready, willing, and able to guide students through the appropriate coping techniques, making your job easier and student’s reception better. Our staff have given youth a voice which has enabled them to seek positive results in every aspect of their lives.
