Description:
Instructional program in health and medical administrative services; Licensed Practical and Licensed Vocational Nurses Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients or persons with disabilities in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private homes, group homes, and similar institutions. May work under the supervision of a registered nurse.Licensing required.

Credential Attained:
An industry-recognized certificate or certification. A certificate of completion of an apprenticeship. A measurable skills gain leading to a credential. A measurable skills gain leading to employment.

Grievance Procedure:
Students with complaints/grievances; Every attempt should be made by both the student and faculty member to resolve the matter at this level. Contact the President of Health Care Integrated School Based Health. Decisions made by the President are considered final. A written response will be provided to the student within 10 days of receiving the grievance. If a student does not feel that HCISBH has adequately addressed a complaint or concern, the student has the right to contact the, U.S.Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration.

Refund Policy:
Students may cancel admission agreement, within 7 days, HCISBH will refund 100 percent of the amount paid for institutional charges, with a deduction for equipment not returned in a timely manner or good condition.

Adults minimum 18 yrs. Required graduate high school /equivalent. Required MA orCNA completion to enter LVN bridge program

Equipment Used in Program:
Stethoscope and Sphygmomanometer medical device for auscultation, or listening to the internal sounds of human body. Pen light. thermometer.

Program Summary

Description:
Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.  Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.

Grievance Procedure:
Students with complaints/grievances are encouraged to do the following: 1. Discuss the issue with their instructor. Every attempt should be made by both the student and faculty member to resolve the matter at this level. If it is not resolved at the instructor level, a written response will be provided to the student within 10 days of receiving the grievance. If dissatisfied with the response or solution, a student should follow the steps below: Contact the President of Health Care Integrated School Based Health. Decisions made by the President are considered final. If a student does not feel that HCISBH has adequately addressed a complaint or concern, the student may consider contacting: U.S.Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration.

Refund Policy:
STUDENT’S RIGHT TO CANCEL: You have the right to cancel your course registration agreement; including any equipment such as books, materials, and supplies or any other goods related to the instruction offered in the admissions agreement, if notice of cancellation is made within seven (7) calendar days of enrollment or by the seventh (7th) calendar day of your first term. Cancellation shall occur when you give written notice. You can also do this by mail, hand delivery, or email. If you cancel the admission’s agreement, within the 7 required days, HCISBH will refund 100 percent of the amount paid for institutional charges, with a deduction for equipment not returned in a timely manner in good condition, within 3 days after your notice of cancellation is received.
