H.C.E conducts exit counseling, including, at minimum, a discussion between staff and the youth on options, resources, and destinations appropriate for his / her well being and progress. This process is enhanced by mentoring youth during and / or after their term of services.

The ultimate goal of the program’s success can be measured in terms of the number of youth that achieve an enhanced quality of life. Life enhancements include improved social, as well as, cognitive and emotional behavior. Students can expect to experience better time management and decision making skills that may result in increased productivity at school, heightened employability upon graduation, and greater socialization into responsible citizens as well as community involvement.
