Our Staff

Staff Composition. . .Healthy Students Thrive With Healthy Minds

Our staff are composed of some of the most dedicated and professional individuals in the integrated health field. Below you will see a list and brief description of each classification of our professionals and their responsibilities.

Behavioral Health Counselors (B.H.C.):  Behavioral health counseling takes a holistic approach, in that it examines a person’s external environmental and societal influences, while also monitoring inner emotional, physical and mental health. Our B.H.C.s are on school site campuses daily to address any and all issues that students are facing.

Medical Assistants (M.A.):  Medical assistants have varying clinical duties. These duties can include various screenings and speaking with clients.

Marital & Family Therapist (M.F.T.):  Marriage and family therapists provide therapy for those experiencing emotional conflicts. Their goal is to modify people’s perceptions and behavior, improve communication, and prevent individual and family crises. M.F.T.s work hand-in-hand with the B.H.C.s to promote the social and physical health of all of our clients through the use of holistic techniques.

Clinical Nurses (C.N.):  The HCE Clinical Nurses are a critical part of the mental health treatment team. They are an integral part of the triage of services needed in our integrated behavioral health care plan.

Medical Physician & Nurse Practitioners (N.P.):  Our program provides participants with access to a fully licensed medical physician capable of diagnosing illnesses, and/or providing regular assessments of clients’ physical health and well being. Clients are seen by our physician on a referral (or request) basis so long as proper parental consents have been provided.

Dentists:  Our program also provides clients with access to practicing dentists on a referral and/or request basis.
